The pageant is made up of a multitude of activities, including a day set aside to explore some of the culture of Grand Rapids. It will also feature contestant workshops, personal interviews, a night dedicated to platform speeches, and other exciting evening activities!

The activities are carefully designed to give state titlholders the opportunity to share with each other, develop friendships, and also allows the judging panel time with the contestants. 

The titleholders become stronger advocates throughout the week because of the various workshops that strengthen them. These workshops develop skills that heighten their awareness on issues within the community and open a dialogue between the women and their thoughts, ideas, values, and experiences.
